Personality: Miharu isn't the most pleasant person to be around; sarcastic, cynical, pessimistic, and morbid don't make for the best combination. Throw in a little depression and being gothic, you end up with one fucked up cookie. There you go! That's definitely Miharu. Despite all this, she still takes her position as a shinobi seriously- she's not a joke-around person when it comes to training. No one really knows why she's so devoted.

Description: Miharu created this jutsu through pure experimentation. Basically, this can work in two ways: It can simply put chakra into weapons, sort of like a trench knife of sorts; however, you have more control over it, sometimes directing the chakra to a specific part of the weapon. The other way that this can work is by channeling your chakra in to a hunk of metal; this takes far more energy and chakra. Using your chakra, you shape the metal, permanently imbuing it with your power. This is not something you wanna do very often- If you have a chance, just go and pick up your old one.

Description: This jutsu is fairly simple; it opens Miharu's specially sealed scroll, which intensifies chakra- nothing overpowering however. For example: If Miharu was fighting a jonin, and she used the scroll, it wouldn't boost her up to his level, only increase her power slightly. Because this scroll has the basics upon which to build another scroll with fewer limitations -the Hoshikage helped her make it- they both saw fit to seal it properly lest it fall into the wrong hands.
Basically, when this jutsu is activated, a chakra star appears from your hand sign, and matches up with the black ink star on the scroll. This allows you to unravel it and thus release the intensification. This only works on the opener. This intensification helps the range of her jutsus, and also their duration. Miharu attempts not to use this all the time, because after she's used some of the scroll's power, she has to put more of her chakra back in later, which is very, very difficult, sometimes painful, and time consuming.
History: Miharu doesn't really like to talk about herself. It is easy enough to see that she doesn't get along well with her family -a mother, father, and brother- because of the fact that she rarely returns home, but why is up to suspicion. In all reality, Miharu's whole attitude can be explained by the death of Tori Ai. A member of an almost extinct clan, similar to the Inuzuka's but for the fact that their chosen animals were birds, she and Miharu were truly inseparable. They loved each other the way sisters could, and beyond, seeing as neither had a secure home life. Ai's death brought the happy, naive Miharu's life to a screeching halt, transforming her psyche into what it is today- pessimistic and poisonous. Though she started late as a shinobi, she quickly caught up because of her perserverence, and afterwards, excelled. Though the Star had been lost years ago, the village had found that the star had lingering effects, almost like radiation, so that if you trained in that area, it was possible to gain the power of the Star while still protecting yourself from negative effects. In the past few years, the power has recently remanifested itself into a stone of the same violet color, which has been made into an amulet for the Hoshikage to wear. Because of the new burst of power, the Hoshikage's dwelling was moved to the training area so that the radiation would effect the training shinobi. Luckily, this new Star-Stone had remarkably few bad effects- the only ones worth mentioning being the greying of the hair at a young age and suseptibility to genjutsu.

The flat, toughened soles of the girl’s slippers pounded roughly against the tree branches, the greenery whizzing past and making her peripheral vision lose all distinction. In her right fist, she held four senban, again and again hurling them at unmarked targets –usually to miss– in an attempt to improve her accuracy. A sweat was beginning to break out on the pale girl’s upper lip, though she quickly swiped it away with the back of her hand.
A bell like laugh broke through the autumn stillness of the forest, and the sun seemed to land just right on the brunette’s face as her smile broke like a wave across her face. ‘Silly, you have to flick your wrist like this to get it right!’
Miharu jerked back to reality, grinding her teeth as her throat swelled painfully. Whatever. Who cares anyway? was the only excuse that her mind could produce. “Ah, shit!” The girl inhaled sharply as she realized that her fist had tightened, making the needles pierce her skin. Coarsely, she yanked them out, running her tongue over the bleeding holes. “Shit, shit, shit…” she murmured, taking up the senban in her left hand to practice while her right hung loosely at her side, the leaves occasionally brushing at it as she miscalculated a jump- she was just off center today.
It was the first time in a long, long while that she’d left the Star Village, and the feeling made her uncomfortable, though it released her from social ties at the same time. The people, oh no, she wouldn’t miss them, but the hills and trees- Oh yes, those she would miss sorely. As the Leaf Village fast approached, she grimly wondered why she had volunteered to be the good-will shinobi to serve in the other village for a while. Apparently, in an effort to build trust and support for the Star Village, the Hoshikage had been sending out other ninja as well to the other hidden villages, big or small. Regardless, he’d chosen her to represent the Star shinobi to the Hokage, Lady Tsunade.
Perhaps things would be interesting around there- The forest around it was certainly nice, if the people totally failed to please. Some good will ambassador you are, she let out a short laugh, realizing how poor she was at this job with her cynical nature. Oh well- Perhaps people around here will shake it out of me. As if.
Miharu shrugged and continued, a mirthful grin playing along her features as her sharp violet eyes quickly spotted the white walls of the Hidden Leaf Village.
With another leap, Miharu landed on the white, packed walls of the villlage, then a nearby roof top. She didn't exactly like being exposed like this, but down on the streets she wouldn't be able to see where she was supposed to be going. With another grimace at how badly she stuck out, she began to proceed, quickly making her way to the building, far on the other side of town, that matched the description that the Hoshikage had given her of the Hokage's office. After another few minutes where she observed the daily life of the villagers, noting who she took to be different clan members and other shinobi, she landed lightly on the hard packed dirt in front of the building that she thought to be the Hokage's office. With a quick glance around, she found that the only entrance to the upper floor where she had been told Tsunade-sama's office was was a staircase, which she promptly took, avoiding the railing because of the heat that the sun had imbued it with. Miharu was quite relieved as she went inside, feeling the cool burst of air upon her face, though the dilemma of which way the Hokage's office was soon pressed upon her. Biting her lip, she looked around for a moment, and upon not seeing anyone who could direct her, she took the right hallway, tentatively making her way down it in hopes that she wasn't doing something wrong. Quickly, however, she was happy to find that a door on the right side of the hallway had the Hokage's name inscribed on it, and, for lack of any other things to do, Miharu knocked gently.
